About Us

KGB was originally called ' Kev's Car Cleaning ' back in 1990 when Kevin, aged 15, started off walking around Haydon Hill with just a bucket, sponge and his Mums' tea towel!

At 17 Kevin brought a Metro van to become mobile, in his time away from his other job as a BMW Technician. Not long after Kevin left BMW to work for himself full time due to popular demand and traded in his Metro van for a larger Escort van.

By now he had many contracts with large companies in Aylesbury, a number of car dealers and many very satisfied customers whom he visited at their homes.

In 1996 Kevins' brother, Gary , joined and they then purchased a second Escort Van.

For a brief period in 1997 their Dad, Bob, then joined and provided many valuable ideas. Kevin, Gary & Bob, becoming KGB!

After trading in the Escorts they were able to get a newer Escort van and a larger Transit Van which enabled them to carry 1000lts of water to jobs and clean approx 30 cars in one go!

In 2006, Kevin branched out to Cosmetic Repairs with a body repair workshop based in Waddesdon. The paint shop has been a great success with the help of their full time paint technician. Check out the Gallery for examples of work. 2011 marks the 20 year anniversay of KGB.
